Bluebeard's Castle is a collaboration with Digital Studio Yeast Culture and director Nick Hillel who has created the beautiful videos and set which acts as a multi-faceted projection surface for this incredible opera.

The production was conceived with the Philharmonia Orchestra and conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen, with whom it toured in Europe in 2011. In 2012 the production travelled to the USA, with performances in San Francisco and Miami with Michael Tilson Thomas. Click here for a review of the production in the Los Angeles Times.

Rite Digital coordinated the production of Duke Bluebeard’s Castle from its conception, liasing with the three co-commissioners (Philharmonia Orchestra, Konzerthaus Dortmund and Gulbenkian Foundation Lisbon).
