Re-Rite

Rite Digital production manages the touring of the Philhamonia Orchestra’s award winning audio visual installation based on The Rite of Spring

RE-RITE, the Philharmonia Orchestra’s digital installation based on The Rite of Spring was a huge success in the UK, and Rite Digital have been production managing the complex installation for overseas touring.

This ambitious project, made possible through the support of the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, is the brainchild of the Philharmonia's Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor Esa-Pekka Salonen, who developed the concept with the Philharmonia Orchestra's Digital Department.

The production involves design and rigging of multiple screens and projectors, and the playback of 27 HD video and 18 audio feeds in frame accurate sychronisation using our custom built playback system.

We’re also responsible for the exhibition design, ensuring the highest possible sound quality and experience for our visitors.

RE-RITE has toured in the UK, Portugal, Germany, Turkey and China. So far in 2013 the production has visited Salzburg festival and Hamburg, with plans underway for further ambitious installations in international locations. More information will be released soon.
